I hate driving. Or so I thought ...
For more than a decade now, I've been content to sit in the passenger seat (an area to explore deeper under separate cover). I'd ask neighbors to pick me up on the way to exercise class, or swing by to grab me on the way to dinner.
July Motivation
Here we are, gearing up to celebrate the Fourth of July -- Independence Day -- and all I can think of is how I've become a slave to my DO list over these last few weeks.
It's been anything but freedom: end-of-year picnics, guitar and dance recitals, graduations, packing camp trunks, and prepping for very emotional sleep-away send-offs. I'm exhausted.
June Motivation
For me, June 1st could very well be the most significant day of the calendar year. It’s the birthday of my son, Austin – my firstborn – and also the birthday of our restaurant, Hill Country Barbecue Market.
It’s also a reminder of how we all get pulled in different directions during the course of a day …a week… a year.
